Additionally, a prize draw was held, raising funds for Action Cancer. Guests also heard from Gareth Kirk, CEO of Action Cancer and Michele Cowan, ambassador for the Charity.
The Christmas Charity Lunch not only marked the season but also showed the Society’s and the profession’s commitment to supporting those in need. With donations and funds raised, as well as a chance to meet old friends, the event was a resounding success.
Attendees generously supported the Christmas Toy Appeal, donating unwrapped toys for The Salvation Army or vouchers for St. Vincent de Paul, ensuring that local children in need received gifts this Christmas.
