Despite the occasional downpours, spirits were good and a full complement of members and guests managed an enjoyable and competitive day’s golf. We also managed to run a now customary ‘beginners’ session for those who are keen to try out the sport.
First prize and the Ulster Society Trophy was awarded to Brendan Malone, while the Ladies prize was won by Sara McCrea.
Second place went to Richard Martin, with Neil McCabe finishing in third. The best visitor score was posted by Conor McCrystal.
The best team prize was awarded to Cleaver Black’s team of Anthony Beadley, Andrew Reid, Steven Kirkpatrick and Mark Robinson. Longest drive was posted by Callum Coulter. Nearest the pin was Jamie Callaghan, while best gross score was posted by Marc Norton. The prize for the most improved golfer in the Beginners’ Session was presented to Nathan Magee.
We’d like to thank our partners at Upstream ABL and all those members and guests who supported this event this year.
