The new Chair of Chartered Accountants Ulster Society has highlighted her commitment to celebrating Chartered Accountants and member firms across Northern Ireland as “difference makers” in their local economy and wider society.

Speaking upon her election at the society’s 119th AGM, held in June in Belfast, Angela Craigan said the Ulster Society was “positive about Northern Ireland, its people, its business community and its prospects”.

“We know that Northern Ireland punches well above its weight – and that resilience and determination are part of who we are”, Craigan said.

A Partner in Audit and Advisory with Belfast firm HM Chartered Accountants, Craigan is one of over 6,000 members of Chartered Accountants Ulster Society.

Originally from Moneyreagh, Co. Down, and now living in Comber, she has worked with HM Chartered Accountants for 24 years.
