The Institute attended the launch of the fourth annual report of the Women in Finance Charter at the Central Bank of Ireland on 13 July. Chartered Accountants Ireland is a signatory of the Charter, a joint industry-government initiative launched in 2022.

Part of the Government’s Ireland for Finance Strategy, the Charter seeks to improve female representation in financial services and, on latest count, has 104 signatory firms.

The signatory organisations collectively employ more than 71,000 people, 51 percent of whom are female.

As a signatory, Chartered Accountants Ireland is committed to gender diversity at all levels in the organisation and recognises that the Charter is a powerful driver of change.
