Chartered Accountants Ireland Skillnet topped the Excellence in Education by a Professional Body category at this year’s Education Awards, held in April, in recognition of its Professional Scepticism Virtual Reality Training Programme.

This award recognises the professional body in Ireland that best demonstrates excellence in the delivery and development of knowledge or skills in a profession.

Presenting the award to Aisling Mooney, Learning Design Specialist, Chartered Accountants Ireland, the judges noted that the VR programme’s immersive audit environments, real-time feedback and evidence-based design provide a “transformative learning experience” for junior and trainee auditors.
