AWARDS, APPOINTMENTS AND ACHIEVEMENTS

Cormac Fitzgerald has been appointed to the Board and National Council of the Irish SME Association (ISME). Fitzgerald is the principal of Cork-based accounting firm Fitzgerald & Partners and a past President of CPA Ireland

Aoife Healy is the new Chief Financial Officer with Royal London Ireland, the life insurance and pensions provider. Healy brings two decades’ of experience in the insurance market. Prior to joining Royal London Ireland, she was a Director with PwC Ireland

Irish Residential Properties REIT (IRES) Plc has appointed Gary Britton as an independent non-executive director. Britton will take up his role following IRES’s AGM on 28 May, subject to shareholder approval of his nomination at that meeting

Eoghan Quigley has joined the board of Elkstone Capital, while co-founder Alan Merriman moves into a new Executive Director role with the investment house. Quigley is the immediate past President of Dublin Chamber of Commerce and a former parter with KPMG Ireland. A former partner with PwC Ireland, Merriman co-founded Elkstone in 2011

Pinergy, the energy transition company, has appointed Jack McLoughlin as Senior Energy Analyst. McLoughlin joins from ESB where he was CSRD Sustainability Analyst and Finance Business Analyst with ESB

Lorna Conn, Chief Executive of Cpl plc, has been appointed Chair of the 30% Club Ireland. The 30% Club is a global campaign supported by Board Chairs and CEOs, committed to achieving better gender balance at leadership levels and throughout their organisation

Louise Murphy has been appointed as a member of the Sea-Fisheries Protection Authority (SFPA). Murphy has worked in the public sector for the past 15 years, most recently as the SFPA’s Acting Principal Officer for Corporate Services

Tríona Dowd is the new Head of Sustainability Assurance with Reckitt in London. Dowd joined Reckitt in 2016 and has since held several roles with the company including, most recently, Senior Finance Manager, Environment, Social and Governance
