Here are just some of the ways that you can listen to Accountancy Ireland’s new audio series. Choose the option that is easiest for you.

Option 1 - Listen on your Computer Visit www.accountancyireland.ie, click A Word in Your Ear. Depending on your computer, a media player should open and the programme should automatically play.

Option 2 – Use the Programme URL Start your Media Player (eg Real Player or Quicktime) Enter the following URL: http://www.accountancyireland.ie/podcasts/AWordinYourEarOctober2007.mp3

Option 3 – Saving the Programme to Your Computer If Option 1 does not work, you will need to save the sound file before you play it. Visit www.accountancyireland.ie, Right click A Word in Your Ear, Choose ‘Save Target As’, Name the file, Save it to your computer (remember where you save it!) Choose a program (eg Windows Media Player, Real Player, Quicktime) to open the saved file.

Option 4 - Listen on your MP3 player or on CD Follow option 3 above then copy or save the file to your MP3 player, or burn it to a CD.

Option 5 -Listen on your iPod iPod users can subscribe by visiting the Podcasts area of the iTunes Music Store. Search under ‘accountancy’.

Option 6 - RSS feed RSS?readers constantly search your favourite news sites and blogs and download updated content to your computer or mobile device. To subscribe to A Word in Your Ear, click the RSS Feed button on www.accountancyireland.ie , select Subscribe to this feed in the yellow box on the top of the page. If you don’t have an RSS reader, some commonly used ones include: www.google.com/reader, and www.bloglines.com Once you have a reader, simply enter http://www.accountancyireland.ie/ podcast/ as the feed address and you will automatically get each new programme in the Accountancy Ireland series. If you have any difficulty taking the feed from the accountancyireland.ie site (e.g. if download speeds are slow) an alternative source to try is http://feeds.feedburner.com/ AccountancyIreland-AWordInYourEar
