NI partnership member limit repealed

The limit on the number of members in a NI partnership has been removed by Statutory Instrument No. 2904 (NI 17), The Partnership etc. (Removal of Twenty Member Limit) (Northern Ireland) Order 2003, which came into force on November 14th 2003. The following sections have been repealed: The Limited Partnerships Act 1907 (c. 24) - In section 4(2) the words "shall not consist of more than twenty persons, and". The Companies (Northern Ireland) Order 1986 (N.I. 6) - Articles 665 and 666. The Companies (No. 2) (Northern Ireland) Order 1990 (N.I. 10) - In Schedule 5, paragraphs 14 and 15.
