Having lobbied extensively on The Companies (Auditing and Accounting) Bill 2003, the ICAI was pleased to see many of its recommendations reflected in the recently enacted legislation and is looking forward to working with the Irish Accounting & Auditing Supervisory Authority. Aidan Lambe Deputy Director of the ICAI's Quality Assurance Department, outlines some of the more significant provisions of the Act.
